This Privacy Policy describes how AestimAi Tech AB (“AestimAi”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use the AestimAi website at https://aestimai.org, our iOS and Android apps, and related services (Universal Coin Index valuation, marketplace, accounts and subscriptions).

2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, name (optional), language preference, plan/subscription status.
- Valuation & marketplace data: object descriptions, photos you upload, UCI valuation results, public listings you choose to publish.
- Mobile app: camera and photo library access only when you use valuation or listing features (with your permission).
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, app version, usage logs for security and service operation.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe (web) or Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app purchases via RevenueCat); we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications: messages you send via contact forms or support.
3. Why we use your data
- Provide UCI valuation, marketplace, accounts and subscriptions.
- Authenticate users and sync data across web and mobile.
- Improve accuracy and security of the platform (including AI-assisted valuation).
- Send service emails (e.g. account, billing) and optional marketing if you opt in.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process data based on: performance of a contract (account and service delivery), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (marketing, optional cookies), and legal obligation where applicable.
5. Processors & third parties
- Supabase — authentication and database (EU cloud).
- Vercel / Railway — hosting and API infrastructure.
- Anthropic — AI processing for valuations (object data you submit).
- Stripe, Apple, Google, RevenueCat — payments and subscriptions.
- Resend — transactional email (when configured).
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Valuations may be retained in anonymised form after account deletion as described in our account deletion flow. Logs are retained for a limited period for security and billing.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact kontakt@aestimai.org. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app or web account settings. Personal identifiers are removed; anonymised valuation statistics may remain for platform calibration as stated at deletion.
9. Children
AestimAi is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. International transfers
Some processors may process data outside the EU/EEA with appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
